According to a recent press release, Hisense Group will be introducing world’s first gesture-controlled Android Smart TV and this of course will be done in collaboration with eyesight Mobile Technologies. According to the sources, the Android Smart TV will be equipped with a 2D camera which will allow viewers to give gesture based commands for changing channels, adjusting volume, playing games etc. There is no news on the price and exact availability date of such gesture-controlled Smart TVs but according to the PR, the Hisense Android Smart TV will be officially unveiled during 2012 International Consumer Electronics Association (CES) show.
