As the world going towards miniaturization, computer accessories are also getting smaller and smaller just like this USB Stick just announced by Deonet which is claimed to be the World’s Smallest USB Stick ever.
The so called USB stick measures 19.5 x 14.5 x 2.9 mm which is less than half the size of typical USB devices. The science behind its smallest size is its Micro UDP chip, which stands for USB Disk In Package. The Micro UDP is assembled by molding the controller, flash IC, substrate and passive components into a small, single package.
The Deonet USB Stick is made so small that may not protrude and you can easily carry your laptop while the USB Stick attach to it, thus eliminating the fear of knocking into objects. The device will be expected to launch in the next month of January 2012 in three versions of 4GB, 8GB and 16GB.
