Super Talent has just revealed of what they call the Storage POD mini USB 3.0 portable SSD that is a lot compact and slimmer than other portable SSDs available out there. A quick benchmark test reveals that at USB 3.0 interface, the Storage POD Mini will have read and write speeds of up to 262MB/s and 204MB/s respectively. The Min USB 3.0 SSD is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 interface and will be made available in 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacities. There are a couple of handy features on this hard drive such and LED capacity indicator, one button automatic backup and write-protect.
Unfortunately Super Talent Storage POD Mini USB 3.0 portable SSD price is not yet announced so stay tuned for updates.
