Though the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is introduced as a Tablet but it can work both like tablet or laptop because it has removable keyboard which when attach to the display looks exactly like a laptop. According to the official announcement of the specs of ASUS Eee Pad Transformer the tablet comprises of:

- Mobile Docking support
It will be the first ASUS Eee Pad which runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb and the mobile docking station features not only Keyboard and Touch Pad but also provide room for:

- 1 x Card Reader (MMC / SD / SDHC / SDXC)
- 24.4Wh Battery
The ASUS Eee Pad transformer is expected to release at stores on 6th April and available in two versions one is 16 GB and the other is 32 GB hence have different cost with respect to the memory size. The 16 GB version costs US$550 and its price increases upto US$850 with keyboard while the 32GB version costs US$750.
