Sharp has just announced its new 7 inch Android tablet, the Sharp Galapagos A01SH, which is one of the first 7 inch tablets running Android 3.2 OS. The Sharp Galapagos A01SH tablet has a 7 inch touch screen with 1024 x 600 resolution and is powered by the famous Nvidia Tegra 2 processor which is clocked at 1GHz. It has a 5.0 mega pixel rear facing and a 2.0 mega pixel front facing camera. The prominent features of this new Sharp Galapagos tablet is Android 3.2 OS which is hardly found in tablets of similar form factor. Previously Sharp had also produced a 5 inch and 10 inch version of the Galapagos tablet but unfortunately those never made to the US market. The 7 inch Sharp Galapagos A01SH tablet however, looks promising and we might see it in stores in the US pretty soon. There has been no official work on price and exact release date for the Sharp Galapagos A01SH Android tablet.
