SanDisk has just announced about its new SSD, the SanDisk X100 SSD which will be made available from 32GB size up to 512GB. The new SanDisk X100 SSD will come in 2.5 inch form factor and will have SATA 6.0 Gbps interface along with MLC NAND Flash Memory chips. The new SanDisk solid state drive will have read and write speeds up to 500MB/s and 420MB/s respectively. The X100 SSDs have a MTBF of 2 million hours.
Unfortunately there is no news on the price and exact release date of the new SanDisk X100 SSD so stay tuned for updates.
