Samsung unveiled its UHS-1 type microSD card which has already began their production on mass scale from the late March. The Samsung ultra high speed microSD cards will be available in 16 GB version and are more apt to the today’s LTE capable smartphones and tablets.
The Samsung UHS-1 microSD card comprises of three main ingredients :
- 20nm-class 64Gb chip
- Toggle DDR 2.0 support
- Advanced Samsung controller
Since the card is based on UHS-1 class but its data read speed is 4 times faster than the current microSD cards which is around 80 MB/s. No words on its pricing and availability so LTE consumers has to wait more to get the faster microSD cards in their devices.
