For those of you thought that the Panasonic Toughbook C1 lacks CPU power, they would be more than glad to hear that the C1 Toughbook has been upgraded with a better performing CPU. It is now powered by Intel Sandy Bridge Core i5-2520M vPro 2.5GHz processor that can be scaled up to 3.2GHz in Turbo Boost II mode. Other prominent features of the newly upgraded Panasonic Toughbook C1 includes an optional 128GB SSD along with a larger 7200rpm HDD of 320GB. Another most prominent upgraded feature is the improved battery life which can go up to 12 hours, thanks to the use of a pair of hot batteries that can be swapped, each having up to 6 hours of battery life. There is still no word on price and exact availability in the U.S. but we have a feeling that these will be available soon.
