OWC has just announced another line of solid state drives, the OWC Mercury Enterprise Pro 6G SSD which can reach read and write speeds of up to 550MB/s and 525MB/s respectively. According to the sources, the OWC Mercury Enterprise Pro 6G SSD has SATA 6.0 Gbps interface and packs Toshiba Enterprise Toggle Synchronous (eMLC) NAND memory module. Controller on this new OWC SSD is a SandForce 2582 which provides fast access times.

Due to sufficiently high read and write data speeds, the OWC Mercury Enterprise Pro 6G SSD does not come cheap and is available in 50GB, 100GB, 200GB and 400GB capacities at price of $629, $799, $1349 and $2199 respectively.
