OCZ just revealed its new line of solid state drives, the OCZ Vertex 450 series solid state drives. These are 2.5″ SSDs having SATA 6.0 Gbps interface and available up to 512GB in size. According to OCZ, the Vertex 450 SSDs are packed with 20nm MLC NAND flash chips along with Indilinx Barefoot 3 M10 controller. The OCZ Vertex 450 SSDs have TRIM support and are capable of delivering read and write speeds as high as 540MB/s and 530MB/s respectively.
