NEC has just unveiled an Android netbook, the NEC LifeTouch Note. LifeTouch Note Android netbook/smartbook features a 7 inch LED-backlit resistive touch screen along with a FULL QWERTY keyboard. It is powered by the famous NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor which is really impressive. Some of the main features of the NEC LifeTouch Note Android netbook have been highlighted below.

The NEC LifeTouch Note Android smartbook has Android 2.2 (Froyo) out of the box and we do not have any information if it will receive an upgrade for Android 2.3 or even Android 3.0. The NEC Android netbook also has a 2 mega pixel lid mounted camera which comes in handy for making video called over Wi-Fi and 3G. The device has an integrated GPS which is a plus. Other features include memory card reader, up to 9 hours and battery etc.

NEC says that it will release three versions of the NEC LifeTouch Note Android netbook. The high end model will have both Wi-Fi, 3G and will have internal storage of 8GB. The mid range version will share the same features except for the 3G support and the low end model or the low price LifeTouch Note will be having Wi-Fi and a 4GB of internal storage only. The price in USD for the NEC LifeTouch Note varies from $480 to $540 and has a release date of March 10th 2011 in Japan.
