MSI has just announced two new 15.6” notebooks, the MSI CX640-071US and MSI CR640-035US, both are powered by Intel 2nd generation Core i3 processor of 2.1GHz. Most of the specifications of the two new MSI notebooks are same with slight differences in their respective GPUs. Detailed specifications and features of these MSI notebooks are as under.

Both the MSI CX640-071US and MSI CR640-035US have 500GB SATA hard drive and 4GB of RAM. These two MSI notebooks have 7-in-1 card reader, DVD/RW drive, 1.3MP webcam etc. Other features include Wi-Fi, Ethernet, 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x VGA-out, 1 x HDMI port etc. Both the MSI notebooks feature Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) operating system and have a very attractive silver brushed housing. The MSI CX640-071US has NVIDIA GeForce GT520M which has 1GB DDR3 dedicated video memory. On the other hand, the MSI CR640-035US has Intel HD 3000 GPU.
The MSI CX640-071US Notebook is available for $649.99 (at Amazon) and the MSI CR640-035US notebook will soon become available for a price of $629.99 only.
