We have just received a confirmation that Motorola will be releasing few more versions of its famous Xoom tablet, the Xoom 2 and the Xoom 2 Media Edition Android tablets. Both the Motorola Xoom 2 tablets will be running Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) OS and will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The Motorola Xoom 2 tablet will have a 10.1 inch HD Gorilla Glass display while the Xoom 2 Media Edition will be having a slightly smaller 8.2 inch HD Gorilla Glass display. Other features of both the Motorola Xoom 2 tablets include 1GB RAM, 16GB storage, 1.3MP front facing / 5.0MP rear facing cameras with LED flash, WiFi, Bluetooth etc. There is still no official word on the price but the good news is that both the Motorola Xoom 2 and Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition tablets will be made available in the first week of Dec 2011.
