Logitech has just unveiled its first ever solar powered keyboard, the Logitech Solar Wireless Keyboard K750 which has no cables and takes you out of the hassle of replacing batteries frequently. The best part about the K750 solar keyboard is that it gets charged in lamp light as well and will continue to function up to three months in total darkness.

The Logitech K750 is the first ever solar powered Logitech keyboard. It has two sets of photo cells at the top. In mid November 2010, Logitech will also release a solar application for computers that will indicate charge levels of the keyboard plus it will also alert users in case the charge turns very low. The Logitech solar keyboard is about 1/3 thick than conventional keyboards and is also very light weight (see video). It is assembled with PVC-free material and has fully recyclable packaging. It comes with Logitech unifying wireless receiver, wireless extender and a cleaning cloth. It is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7. The device is backed by a 3-year limited hardware warranty.

The Logitech Solar Wireless Keyboard K750 is currently available on pre-order for $79.99 only.
