LG Korea has just announced a new 10.1” Windows tablet featuring Windows 7 Starter Edition and is equipped with some decent hardware as well. The tablet is called LG E-Note H1000B Tablet and just like other 10.1 inch tablets from big brands, this Windows 7 tablet is also not likely to carry a low price tag. Currently we have no information on when this LG E-Note tablet will be released in other regions.
The LG E-Note tablet has the Windows 7 Starter Edition which can be upgraded to the Professional edition. Other features of the LG E-Note H1000B tablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, SD card slot, 16GB of internal memory via SSD, 1GB RAM etc. The LG E-Note tablet is powered by a 1.66GHz processor and it sports a 10.1 inch touch screen supporting maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Despite the touchscreen functionality, the LG E-Note tablet also supports external keyboard and mouse which is suitable for desktop environment. This Windows 7 tablet also has a very handy stand to keep it at decent viewable angle.
The price of the LG E-Note H1000B Windows 7 tablet is $850 (approximately) which also includes a portable WiMAX router for Korea.
