It seems like Lenovo does not want to stay behind in the tablet war as sources have confirmed Lenovo’s recent activity in bringing the very first 10.1 inch Lenovo ThinkPad tablet with IPS panel touch screen and of course Android 3.0 OS. As already mentioned above, the Lenovo ThinkPad tablet has a 10.1” WXGA (1280×800) touch screen display in the form of IPS panel. The touch screen is capacitive with multi-touch capabilities. As predicted, the new Lenovo ThinkPad tablet will be released in three memory sizes such as 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. It also has a microSD card slot for adding more storage. It has Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity as well. Other feature include pen, digitizer (optional), USB 2.0 port, micro USB port, 3-in-1 SD card reader, mini-HDMI out, keyboard booklet, cradle (optional) etc.
The Lenovo ThinkPad tablet will be running Honeycomb i.e. Android 3.0 OS and will be released in summer this year with price starting from $499 only.
