Back to April Lenovo announced its upcoming Android Tablets, Lenovo K1 Tablet and the other is ThinkPad Tablet. The first one already got access to the market while ThinkPad is preparing to come on the scene and now it has finally got FCC approval and hopefully reaches to the customers by 23rd August 2011.

As per leaked reports it was expected it as an Android Slate but as the news come it looks more for business users and enterprise segment. The 10.1” ThinkPad runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system and its specs and photos were already leaked meanwhile. The FCC has approved it by drawing a line at the rear end of the tablet as shown in the figure.

The Lenovo ThinkPad will be available in two packages; 16GB for $499 and in other package $529 for 16GB with stylus.
