Kingston has just released in the European market of what is called one of the most compact Kingston USB flash drive, the Kingston DataTraveler 108 USB flash drive. Although these have a really low form factor but they still could not beat the super mini LaCie MosKeyto USB flash drive. The new Kingston DataTraveler 108 comes is few attractive colors but consumers are more interested in speeds as well as capacities of USB flash drives. The Kingston DataTraveler 108 comes in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities, each one available only in its specific color. They carry a 5-year warranty label and unfortunately have got up to USB 2.0 support. The Kingston DataTraveler 108 USB flash drive is available in Europe for 6.42 Euro/9 USB, 10.06 Euro/14 USB and 20.27 Euro/29 USD for the 4GB, 8GB and 16GB version respectively.

Kingston announced it is increasing read and write speeds on its DataTraveler 410 to 20MB sec. .The increased data transfer rates of the DataTraveler 410 follow a recent speed bump of the higher capacities 16- and 32GB of Kingstons consumer-level DataTraveler I DataTraveler 101 and DataTraveler 112 drives to read and write speeds of 10MB sec.
