There have been plenty of mini laptops created in the past specifically for injecting the learning habits in children and the same streak is being followed but this time with the help of tablets. The Karuma PlayBase is a 7 inch tablet measuring only 9.7mm thick and powered by a 1.2GHz Rockchip processor along with 1GB DDR3 RAM. It is expected to be running an undeclared version of Android OS which of course has been buried under some kind of kids-friendly UI. The Karuma PlayBase 7 inch tablet is neither the iPad nor the Samsung Galaxy Tab and has a very cheap price tag of £170 despite being powered by a 1.2GHz processor and packing a capacitive touchscreen. It even has a silicon cover to prevent its screen from scratches and dust plus it also doubles as a kick stand for the Karuma PlayBase 7 inch tablet.
