After last summer successful release of Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth, Huawei didn’t waste much time in announcing its successor model MediaPad 7 Youth2. According to the released specs it seems that Huawei want to compete this MediaPad against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. Therefore, to get the maximum attention Huawei claimed that it will be the affordable android tablet.
According to the Chinese manufacturer Huawei, the MediaPad 7 Youth2 comprises of:
- 7-inch display with 600 x 1024 resolutions
- 1.2GHz quad-core MSM8x12 A7 processor
- 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal memory
- VGA front-facing camera
- 3MP rear camera
- Connectivity: HSPA+ (21 Mbps) and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n
- MicroSD card support
- 4,100 mAh Li-Po battery
- Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Huawei’s Emotion UI 1.6
As the expected cost of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will be around $130, so, hopefully Huawei will set the price cheaper than that. The news regarding its launch are yet to come so stay tuned!
