HP has just unveiled the HP TouchPad tablet, which is a 9.7 inch webOS tablet. Unlike other brands focusing on Android OS, HP is pretty much convinced that the HP webOS operating system will get the job done and looks a lot better than the previously released HP 500 Slate tablet. Some of the main features of HP TouchPad webOS tablet are stated below.

As already stated above, the HP TouchPad webOS tablet has a 9.7” XGA capacitive touch screen with multitouch capability and 1024 x 768 resolution. The TouchPad is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor of 1.2GHz along with 1GB of RAM. Internal storage is either 16GB or 32GB. Other features of HP TouchPad webOS tablet include GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB port, 3.5mm audio jack, light sensor, accelerometer, magnetometer(compass), gyroscope etc. The TouchPad weighs about 1.6 lbs.

The HP TouchPad webOS tablet has a 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera along with integrated stereo speakers and Beats audio. Battery is 6300mAh.
