Previous week, HP announced few of its upcoming devices, HP TouchPad webOS tablet being one of them. Till to date, HP has not revealed the price and exact release date of this tablet but we are getting plenty of unofficial words (rumors) that the new HP TouchPad webOS tablet will be priced at $699 and is expected to start shipping in June 2011.

For those of you who have not gone through the specs of HP TouchPad webOS tablet, they better know that it is a 9.7 inch tablet running webOS and powered by dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor of 1.2GHz. Other features of HP TouchPad include GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, accelerometer, light sensor, gyroscope, compass, 1GB RAM etc. HP TouchPad webOS tablet also has a handy 1.3 mega pixel front faced camera. It only weighs about 1.6lbs and will be available in 16GB and 32GB versions having either 3G or 4G connectivity.
