HP is to add AMD Fusion processors to its HP Pavilion DV6 and DV7 notebooks which is a good news for hardcore gamers as this addition means a boost in gaming performance as the newly released AMD Fusion A Series Llano APUs are meant to deliver 3D graphics experience like never before. Some of the main features about the new HP Pavilion DV6 and DV7 notebooks have been highlighted below.

Both the HP Pavilion DV6 and DV7 notebooks are powered by quad-core AMD Llano processors which have clock speeds of 1.4GHz to 1.9GHz that can be scaled up to 2.6GHz with its Turbo capability. It is predicted that these two notebooks will have either AMD Radeon HD 6620 or 6520 GPU. Other features of AMD Fusion powered HP Pavilion DV6 and DV7 notebooks include HD webcam, Beats Audio, HP CoolSense for keeping the notebook cool specially under heavy load etc.

The HP Pavilion DV6 has a screen size of 15.6” while the HP Pavilion DV7 has a 17.3” display. The AMD A Series APU powered HP Pavilion DV6 and DV7 notebooks will be available in Jul 2011 for price of $599 and $699 respectively.
