HP without doing much in term of creating a fuzz, has just introduced its new 8 inch Android tablet, the HP 8. The new HP 8 has a 7.85-inch display with just 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. Not so impressed with the display, the HP 8 still packs a nice quad core processor which will help to make the user experience on Android 4.2.2 OS worthwhile, which is of course the OS on HP 8 tablet.
Other than that, the HP 8 tablet has 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, WiFi, etc. It has 3800mAh Li polymer battery which is claimed to give it a backup time of up to 7 hours. The HP 8 tablet has a front facing VGA camera and a rear facing 2.0MP camera.
The HP 8 quad core Android tablet sells at a retail price of $169.99 only. You can also read its customer reviews at Amazon (details here).
