Gateway has just introduced NV51 series notebooks, the Gateway NV51B05u and NV51B02u notebooks, powered by the new AMD Fusion technology and the best part about them is that these will not be heavy on your pockets. Although we are not huge fans of Gateway notebooks but the specs and design of the new Gateway NV51 series notebooks have impressed us evenly. Main features have been discussed below.
The new Gateway NV51 series notebooks use the latest AMD APU which offers both the CPU and GPU functionally from a single chip making these less power hungry notebooks. The Gateway NV51B05u notebook has 3GB of RAM, AMD Fusion E-350 APU, AMD Radeon HD 6130 CPU, an impressive exterior including a full size keyboard along with keypad.
On the other hand, the Gateway NV51B02u is even a cheaper notebook with 2GB of RAM without the AMD Radeon GPU but has full HD playback capability. Both the Gateway NV51 series notebooks have 15.6” LED backlit LED display with 1.3 MP webcams, 3 x USB 2.0 ports, HDMI out etc.
