Corsair has just released another of its 240GB SSD drives codenamed Corsair Neutron GTX. This is a 240GB model having number CSSD-N240GBGTXB-BK. Like other solid state drives, the new Corsair 240GB SSD has a 2.5″ form factor and is equipped with Toshiba’s 19nm MLC NAND Flash memory chips. The Neutron GTX SSD has SATA 6.0 Gbps interface and is claimed to have read and write speeds of up to 550MB/s and 470MB/s respectively. Other supported functions include TRIM, NCQ, SMART, ATA/ATAPI-8 etc.
Currently available in Japan, the Corsair 240GB Neutron GTX SSD has a price tag of 25,900 Yen which roughly equals about $274 only, see details for availability in U.S.
