Corsair has introduced a new line of solid state drives, the Corsair Force LS SSDs. These new Corsair SSDs are available in 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacities. All are 2.5-inch solid state drives.
The Corsair Force LS SSDs are equipped with Toshiba MCL NAND Flash memory chips and pack the Phison controller. These are SATA 6.0 Gbps solid state drives with the usual TRIM support.
According to Corsair, the new Force LS SSDs can achieve a maximum read and write speeds of up to 560MB/s and 535MB/s respectively. For those interested, the Corsair Force LS SSDs are available at a retail price of $70, $110 and $200 for 60GB, 120GB and 240GB model respectively. These are available via Amazon (see details).
