Centon Electronics Inc. has just announced its new series of SATA III SSDs, the Centon VVS1 SSDs. The Centon VVS1 SSDs are available only in 120GB and 240GB sizes and only come in 2.5” size. These new solid state drives are equipped with 2Xnm MLC NAND Flash memory chips. These new Centon VVS1 SSDs have SATA 6.0 Gbps interface and has read and write speeds of up to 400MB/s and 300MB/s respectively.
Unfortunately there is still no official word on price of the new Centon VVS1 SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs so stay tuned for updates. Each of these SSDs will come with 2-year warranty and would have MTBF of 2 million hours.
