Asus has just come up with a couple of new Windows 8.1 computers and one that got our attention is the Asus ZenBook UX308 ultrabook which measures only 0.48-inch in thickness making it a very competitive alternate for the Apple MacBook Air at nearly half the price.
The new Asus ZenBook UX308 other than being super slim is powered by the latest Intel Core M series CPU of up to 2.6GHz with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM. Internal storage consists of up to 256GB SSD which gives it quite a performance boost.
The ASUS UX308 Ultrabook has a multitouch display of 13.3-inch with resolution options as high as 3200 x 1800 pixels. The computer has a HD webcam that can record 720p videos. Other features include SDHC card slot, WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0 etc.
The battery life on the Asus ZenBook UX308 is up to 10 hours because of its less power hungry Intel CPU. Price starts at $699 only.
