ASUS has already announced that it will be releasing its new Android tablet, the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime, in December this year. The new ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime Android tablet has 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 resolution touchscreen with Super IPS display and will be powered by the latest Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor of 1.3GHz along with 1GB RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot to further add more storage. Like other popular honeycomb tablets, the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime and a 1.2MP front facing camera along with a handy 8.0MP rear-facing camera that can record HD videos as well. Other features of the new Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet include GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI, 3.5mm headphone jack etc. The device runs on Android 3.2 OS. As mentioned above, the new ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime Android tablet will start shipping in December 2011 at a price of $499 for 32GB model and $599 for the 54GB model.
