Acer Iconia A100 Android tablet

Acer revealed another tablet for its fans, the Acer Iconia A100, which is a 7 inch Android tablet powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and running the most anticipated Android version of 2011, Android 3.0 (Honeycomb). The Acer Iconia A100 tablet also sports some decent set of specs, some of which are highlighted below.

The Acer Iconia A100 Android tablet has a 7 inch touchscreen with multitouch support. The tablet has two cameras; one 5 mega pixel rear facing and the other is a 2 mega pixel front facing camera for making video calls over Wi-Fi. Other features of the Acer Iconia A100 table include, HDMI out, gyroscope, improved tablet appearance Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc. The Acer Iconia A100 tablet currently has Android 2.2 (as displayed at MWC 2011) but when it is officially launched in April, it will ship with Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) out of the box.

The Acer Iconia A100 will initially be released in UK and then other parts of the world. Acer has not announced the price and exact release date for Iconia A100 Android tablet so stay tuned for updates.
