Acer has just announced its new netbook with dual core Intel Atom processor. The Acer Aspire One D255 is the netbook that has recently been released by Acer. The D255 netbook becomes the second netbook to have dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor.

Other than the dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor of 1.5GHz, the Acer Aspire One D255 netbook also has 10.1 inch LED backlit display with a maximum resolution of 1024 x 699 plus it also has Intel GMA 31509 integrated graphics chipset along with 1GB of DDR2 RAM. The Acer Aspire One D255 netbook also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and is expected to have 250GB of hard drive space. No information on pricing and availability has yet been made public.
