OCZ has just announced the 1TB capacity model of its latest SSD series, the OCZ Octane SSD which is already available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities. For those who are not aware, the OCZ Octane SSD series is equipped with MLC NAND Flash memory along with Indilinx Everest controller. These OCZ Octane SSDs also support TRIM and have MTBF of 1.25 million hours.
The 1TB OCZ Octane SSD has read and write speeds of 460MB/s and 330MB/s respectively and will be available for about $3,242 by the end of May 2012.
