Today Nikon revealed three brand new COOLPIX cameras with powerful zoom feature; the cameras are:
- COOLPIX P500 with 36x zoom
- COOLPIX S9100 with 18x zoom
- COOLPIX L120 with 21x zoom
These COOLPIX cameras are based on Nikon’s world-class NIKKOR lenses and Nikon’s EXPEED C2™ high performance digital image processing engine which combine to produce high quality photos and video with real touch.
The COOLPIX P500 has the most powerful 36x zoom which is neither found in any of the digital cameras today, hence create “ultra-telephoto” premium compact. The camera is build with 12.1 megapixel CMOS sensor which can work fine in low-light conditions. It is made with additional zoom control feature that provides image stability while handling the camera so no technical skills are required to carry this camera everyone can use it easily.
The COOLPIX S9100 and L120 are other COOLPIX cameras with slim zoom and stylish body. S9100 features with 18x wide-angle Zoom-NIKKOR ED glass lens, 12.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, 3-inch high resolution, 921,000-dot LCD monitor and enhanced interface for easy viewing and editing.
The COOLPIX L120 features 1x wide-angle Zoom-NIKKOR glass lens, 14.1-megapixel, auto select scene mode. 720p HD video recording and some other advanced features.
As far as availability and price is concerned P500 will be available in March 2011 at price of $399.95 in black and red colors, S9100 comes in March 2011 for $329.95 in black, red and silver and L120 will be available in late February 2011 for $279.95 in black, red and bronze.
