Yesterday Sony unveiled its professional NXCAM broadcast camcorder the NEX-FS100 E-mount. Its an interchangeable lens camcorder that is designed particularly as digital motion camcorder. The main design feature is its Large CMOS sensor the Exmor which has the same size as embed in present E-mount cameras i.e. Super35mm film.

The NEX-FS100 E-mount camcorder features:
- 3.5″ LCD display
- Built-in GPS
- Memory Stick PRO Duo™ or SDHC and SDXC compatibility
- Industry-standard XLR audio connectors
- 1080p Full HD video recording
The camcorder can record video in slow and quick motion at different frame rates like; 60, 30 and 24fp and different modes including NTSC countries, 50 and 25 in PAL. The NEX-FS100 E-mount will be available with Sony E 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 OSS lens at retail price of $5850.
