As we have seen that Panasonic has announced its new LUMIX DigiCams and now another announcement has come from Panasonic that it is also going to launch three more LUMIX cams; and TS3 is among one of the camera. It is the modified version of previous TS2 cam.

The TS3 has some advanced features which were not present in its predecessor set; these features include built-in GPS for geotagging, a compass, altimeter and barometer. The camera can be carried anywhere in any environmental conditions as it is made waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof and dustproof, hence it can be said that the TS3 is build for outdoor use. The other features include:
- 12.1-megapixel Hi-Speed CCD sensor
- Capable of recording 1920 x 1080 full-HD AVCHD video
- 4.6x optical zoom
- Built-in LED for lighting up dark creepy crawlies
- 2.7-inch, 230,000-dot Intelligent LCD screen with wide-viewing angle
The LUMIX TS3 will be available in variety of colors including red, orange, silver, and blue. It will reach to its customers in the month of March 2011, and still its price information is not revealed.
